GUBI Goes Al Fresco

‘GUBI goes Al Fresco’ is an exploration of the thresholds between inner and outer living - pushing the physical boundaries that can divide these environments and blending them to create an innovative area of opportunity. Launching new outdoor furnishing lines and introducing adapted versions of their existing indoor portfolio, the collection offers a fresh vision of outdoor design.

The studio was commissioned to conceptualise a virtual preview in which to showcase GUBI’s furniture and lighting. Against the backdrop of an idyllic villa, we were tasked with creating a scenography which would invite the viewer into an indoor/outdoor escape.

Aligning to the natural aspects of the collection, as well as our studio’s consistent approach to harmony, the products were arranged in an organic sequence. Running in a flowing gesture through the open space our aim was to convey the essence of a garden in bloom, forming rhythmic pockets of activity that would bring the environment to life. The movement through the room was purposefully interrupted in places, creating circulation between areas whilst also enabling optimal viewpoints from which to shoot engaging films and images.

The result is a virtual journey through alluring spaces - evoking notions of travel and wonder.
