The studio is founded by Mette Risbæk, who works from Copenhagen and the island of ‘Fyn’. Mette and her family recently relocated to Fyn, to renovate a period property and transform it into a tranquil home.
Mette finds inspiration in the contrasts between city and country life, all of which help her create spaces that feel historically rich, while fully relevant to today.
Throughout her career, Mette has delivered a broad range of private and commercial projects, collaborating with leading engineers, acousticians and lighting designers. She has worked as an interior architect and retail designer for global brands and companies, crafting high-end residential and brand environments around the world.
Her many years of art directing and designing for acclaimed Danish brands, such as Bang & Olufsen and Gubi, have grown Mette’s recognition along with her creative and technical expertise.
Mette holds a cand. Arch. from Aarhus School of Architecture in Denmark.
